La Casa di Orazio

Inside the walled perimeter of Villa Grabau, in a completely private area, stands Casa di Orazio. This beautiful two-story antique house takes its name from the old gardener of the villa, whose family lived and worked in the garden for centuries.  

Tastefully restored and furnished with antique items belonging to the family, Casa di Orazio has its own exclusive garden where you can dine outdoors in a beautiful antique setting.

Consisting of 180 square meters, the ground floor is made up of a large living room with a fireplace and access to the garden, a dining room (also with access to the garden) and a large kitchen with an old wood fireplace. The kitchen also has doors opening onto the garden. 

The first floor consists of two bedrooms with twin beds, two double bedrooms, one bedroom with a single bed, one bathroom with shower and bidet and one bathroom with a bathtub, shower and bidet. There is also another small bathroom with a toilet and washbasin.

The spacious garden (approx 1000 sqm) has a large lawn area and terracotta terrace, equipped with teak outdoor setting, umbrella, barbeque and deck chairs.  A ping-pong table is also available for the use of guests.

The circular swimming pool (10m diameter with depth from 1.2m to 1.6m) is in common with the other house called La Stalletta and is reserved for exclusive use of the two houses. It can be found 60 meters from the house inside the park of Villa Grabau.

Private parking is also available.

The property, available all year round, is equipped with every convenience: independent central heating, Satellite TV, wi-fi ADSL line, telephone (on request), dishwasher, washing machine, oven and freezer.

Extra: It is possible to have a chef and/or to organise cooking classes during your stay.  This service is organised externally and therefore must be reserved prior to arrival. 
Lunch or Dinner: There is a restaurant situated in the old oil mill, fixed menu for 13 euro for adults and 10 euro for children up to 12 years old.
